Ingredients of Efo-riro

  1. Prepare 1 bunch of shoko.
  2. Prepare of Peppermix (shombo,atarodo,tattasai).
  3. You need 1/2 cup of locust beans.
  4. Prepare 1 of bulb onions.
  5. It's 2 of maggi crayfish cubes.
  6. Prepare 3 of maggi hotpot cubes.
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup of grounded crayfish.
  8. Prepare 2 pcs of kpomo.
  9. It's of Beef as desired.
  10. Prepare 1 cup of palm oil.
  11. You need 1 of dry fish.
  12. You need of Shaki as desired.

Efo Riro is a Yoruba word and it loosely means 'stirred spinach'. In Nigeria, the vegetables used for Efo Riro are 'Efo Shoko' (Lagos spinach) or 'Efo Tete' (African spinach).   2. In a pot heat palmoil, add onions n locust beans fry for 2 mins.
  3. Add grounded crayfish, peppermix n maggi hotpot cubes fry d peppermix for 20mins.
  4. After 20mins add dry fish n maggi crayfish cubes.
  5. Add d beef, kpomo, and shaki.
  6. Add shoko leaves, add more crayfish n stir allow to cook for 1min thats all enjoy.
